A farewell to arms, legs, and other nice bits....

I started writing here in 2004, full of enthusiasm and weizenbier, after falling in love with the biggest blue eyes I'd ever seen before. Over the years, we got to be great friends and travelled and walked and hiked together. She's off to other things now and I'm faced the the challenge of finding someone else to wander with or learn to do it fully alone.
